Megan's Tucson Baby Shower

Today Katie and I attended Megan's Baby Shower
This will be her only trip to Tucson before the baby, her friends picked the theme of
"Bring you favorite children's Book"
I made her a
"Cat In The Hat" quilt with minki fabric on the back.....sooooooooooo SOFT!
It was a nice afternoon with Megan , her and Katie are only days apart in their pregnancy...
This was great fun.

Melissa's Baby Shower

Katie's friend, Melissa, is expecting her first in April, I had the joy of making baby Liam a quilt and matching doggie!
His nursery colors are those that are in the quilt, Katie made sure that I had the correct color palette before I took one stitch..
It was much fun being there to celebrate with Melissa and both of Liam's grandmas.....and with Katie. Soon ,we will be at Katie's baby shower! what blessings these times are.

The Shield of FAITH

On Sunday Pastor Ron had us reading Ephesians 6, What part of God's armor might we be lacking in was his challenge to us. As I read that passage sitting in my seat that day, I was sure for me it is the Shield of Faith that I have lack of...I acknowledged that and confessed to the Lord, that I would work on that and then went merrily on my way........
I have been in some personal struggles and as only God can do He will bring to me my issues.
Today, Katie passed on a little devotional book from Beth Moore and I opened to read this:
" IN EVERY SITUATION TAKE THE SHIELD OF FAITH, AND WITH IT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FLAMING ARROWS OF THE EVIL ONE." Ephesians 6:16

Beth writes," WHEN WE RESPOND TO ATTACKS OF DOUBT, DISTORTION, AND DECEIT WITH THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD, THE FIERY DART IS EXTINGUISHED AND THE ENEMY TAKES ANOTHER HIT."
Okay Lord, I have heard and I will obey YOU!

Speedway Widening, 2 years of this!

After waiting for years and years, the City is FINALLY widening Speedway.

From Camino Seco to Houghton

We are very excited and look forward to nice roads to travel in and out of our neighborhood.

Makes for interesting walks in the morning, so much activity and NOISE!
