The "Grandma Quilts" Vintage/Modern

This Baby shower for Betsy was given by her sisters, this is the Shower that Betsy got her "Grandma Quilts"
Karen, Betsy's Mom, is well known for her amazing Double Wedding Ring quilts and this one did not disappoint!
It is yellow and hand quilted.
The Nursery colors are yellow and grey and Betsy loving vintage and modern (just ask Katie) I went to work on a more modern quilt for my next grandson's Mommy.
With Betsy's help we came up with this stunning grey and cream chevron quilt which is machine quilted.
So here we are, two very excited Grandmas one very very excited Mommy and a Vintage like quilt and a modern quilt...and they look amazing hanging on the crib together....

Birthday Blessings and Fabric! SCORE

Above is a picture of 60 Fat Quarters, to celebrate my 60th...this was a treat and an amazing gift.
from my friend LouAnne, what a "tower" of fun....and she made that adorable "60" to wrap it all with...
I can't wait to dig into these, but I am going to hate tearing down that tower of fabric...
My long-time friend, Sue, gifted me wool and beads with some pearl cotton...
I do think I shall look into a wool Christmas project.  I LOVE LOVE wool and pretty seed beads.

Here is all the Birthday Fabric, I know, you may be thinking, Oh MY Goodness...
the Blessings of Fabric make this Birthday girl really happy...
thank you girlfriends...xo

Levi conquering his fears!

Levi was not so sure about Grandma's washer and dryer, after many times sitting as far away as possible, he finally decided he had to take a closer look!
Now, those very scarry things in Grandma's hall are not scarry at all!
