Applique From Panama

My friend, Dena, recently vacationed in Panama, the women there have all these bright and beautiful applique for sale..

She brought several back and I chose this one.

I am having fun deciding what I want to do with it, I am thinking a pillow..

I am blessed with some great friends.

FINALLY, a picture of my wonderful Friend, LouAnne holding Jacob and me holding Levi....These boys are only 9 days apart and LouAnne and I have had a great experience having our daughters pregnant and having their first babies at the same time.....it has been such a BLESSING to share in life with a great friend! Katie and Hoss and Megan and James, GOOD JOB.....these two Grandma's are thrilled and proud! WE look forward to many memories, even with Jacob living in Wyoming, we are sure they will grow up knowing each other....

I AM THANKFUL

As I was working in my kitchen yesterday preparing for todays dinner, the thought came to me that I have been preparing Thanksgiving Dinners since I was 19 years old, so Forty Years now! I thought about all those past years and loved ones that are no longer here to enjoy the day with us and I thought about all those loved ones that are now part of our family and we are so BLESSED to have with us. I am THANKFUL, for our BLESSINGS, for our trials and the GRACIOUS answer to our prayers! I am THANKFUL, my heart is full. I wish all of you a very wonderful Thanksgiving...Our thanks all belong to the Lord.
Psalm 107 in the first verse says it so perfectly "GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD; HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER"

Nick and Betsy and Hoss and Katie honored us by taking us out to a Lovely dinner and then inviting a few of our friends over for a bit of dessert and Champagne toast....

Mike and I are so BLESSED , to be married for Forty Years and to have such wonderful family and friends.
