60th Birthday/ Christmas Party

 

My Quilt Group threw me a 60th Birthday/Christmas party this past week. It is our tradition to celebrate what we call "0" Birthdays with a special QUILT gift and a party...we do this once per person and this year we had two in our group....we did Helen's "QUEEN" party earlier this year and then they did a Christmas Theme for me, I was so surprised, not exactly at the celebration but for sure the theme!  I had such a great time, Sue's house was "decked" out with Christmas and Santa came to see me!
These friends made me the most wonderful red/green tablerunner....with amazing appliqued poinsettias on the ends....It is just perfect!
I am blessed with lots of wonderful friends....

Boys and their REMOTES!

Do you think they are born this way or is it learned behavior? thing is..... Levi's remote does not do a thing, only Grandpa's does.........he won't be fooled for long!

"Hey, Honey, why don't you stay home today and sew!!!!

 I was all ready to go to the office, and my honey called and said " Hey, Honey, why don't you stay home today and Sew!" and I am...I have the Olympics on and RJ is sleeping in his bed and I am happily quilting grandbaby #7's quilt....It is a wonderful blessing.....I really Love my husband and my sewing room...

Betsy's Baby Shower

Katie and I were thrilled to host a baby shower for Betsy and baby boy Dunlap.
We celebrated with a dessert Tea at Amelia Grey's TeaRoom on Sunday afternoon.
The Theme was Yellow and Grey and Chevrons.
Katie created an adorable clothesline with really sweet yellow and grey baby items...
it was a lovely afternoon with Betsy and Nick's family and friends "showering" her and baby with much needed items.
we are looking forward to meeting this little guy in early October!

All SIX grandkids!

This is my oldest grandson Kaden, 11 years and youngest (for the moment, expecting number 7 on October), Levi 10 months
 

 

Here they all are, Levi, Grandma, Kaden,Kyson, Kelson, Kendall and Kylor...this was such a thrill for me, to be able to see the Dunlap kids and for Levi to meet his cousins.....
I am so blessed and looking forward to Nick and Betsy's baby boy in October..

Amy's Baby Shower

Today we Showered Amy with Love and gifts for Baby Girl Phillips.
They are doing her room in Pink and Navy Blue with a Nautical Theme.
we look forward to meeting this sweetheart in late September!
