Gift Basket

I had the pleasure to help Katie's store on Saturday,

she had a designer and needed a gift basket to give to her..

I went to Stephanie's blog and saw that she likes all kinds of crafts..

I took some of my newly dyed wool and created a basket with a little Arizona flair...

so much fun.

Too Many Knives for my block!

I had too many knives to fit into my Cutco Block
we looked into buying a Larger Block from Cutco....
BUT, they want over $300 for the larger block...
Mike went to work figuring out a "Custom Block" for our knives...

He already had plenty of Oak in his shop
so he started gluing .....

and cutting grooves just the right size for the knives.....

drilling perfect holes for the forks.............

we were so excited when it started looking like a knife block!

our "CUSTOM" knife block......
stamped with Mike's Hand Crafted stamp.
It is so great.
Thank you, Honey
